Rajiv Rao

Rajiv was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2011 and began his career working for a senior barrister in Auckland before joining Inder Lynch in 2015. He was made a Partner in March 2022.

Rajiv has appeared in the District Court, Family Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as before various tribunals. He specialises in civil litigation and dispute resolution, and also undertakes some criminal and family work (primarily in the area of estate claims).  He is committed to helping clients resolve difficult situations through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution and (where necessary) the court process.

Rajiv previously volunteered at his local Citizens Advice Bureau and is a keen astronomer and photographer in his spare time.
