Lorenzo Villena

Lorenzo is an associate in our property law team based in our Manukau office.

Originally from the Philippines, Lorenzo moved to Hamilton where he completed his degree in Bachelor of Laws at Waikato University. He went on to be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in July 2019.

As a law student, Lorenzo began his legal career volunteering for Community Law Waikato, which eventually resulted in him being appointed to the position of caseworker coordinator. After his admission to the Bar, Lorenzo worked in a boutique general practice firm in Whangarei and then joined us in 2020. He now specialises in property law, commercial law, trusts, wills and estate planning & administration.

Lorenzo excels in building rapport with his clients and colleagues and is always seeking further ways to improve the quality of service that he provides.

Having the ability to speak fluent Tagalog, Lorenzo enjoys getting amongst the Filipino community. Outside of work, he has a passion for staying fit, competing in powerlifting meets and sampling numerous types of whiskey.
