Cari Richardson

Cari completed her Bachelor of Laws at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa and following her practical training practised in that country from 2012 to 2015, at which time she immigrated to New Zealand with her husband.  Cari worked as a legal assistant until she was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2021. Cari joined Inder Lynch in 2024 and is based at our Manukau office.

Cari specialises in civil litigation including general contractual disputes and debt collection, and also undertakes contested estate work. She takes a pragmatic approach to disputes to reach the best outcome for her clients, whether that is through alternative dispute resolution or court proceedings. Cari has an analytical mind and uses her skills to understand the issues thoroughly so as to provide comprehensive advice for her clients.

Cari lives in Pukekohe and enjoys the close community.  She is married to an avid fisherman and has two little girls who love to help with her endless baking.
